Parkville/Carney Crime: Items Stolen From Former Giant Under Renovation

The following information was obtained from the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

E. Joppa Road, 1900 block. Between 3 p.m. Aug. 30 and 6 a.m. Aug. 31. Scrap metal, a chop saw, four bottle cutters, anda right-angle drill were stolen from a property owned by Heritage Properties. The total value of the stolen items is approximately $1,000. The building was formerly a Giant grocery store and is currently being renovated into a Savers, Inc. store.

E. Joppa Road, 2000 block. Between 3 p.m. Aug. 30 and 9:54 a.m. Aug. 31. Metal studs, piping and an extension cord were stolen from a property owned by Gebhardt Properties. The total value of the stolen items is approximately $253.
