Parkville-Carney Crime: Man Robbed At Gunpoint On Front Porch

Parkville

Burridge Road, 2700 block. At 2:45 a.m. Oct. 2. A man was robbed on his front porch as he walked to the front door. A robber approached the man, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim gave the robber his wallet containing a driver's license and cash, then the robber hit the victim with the gun and ran.

Marfield Place, 7900 block. Between 8:30 p.m. Sept. 28 and 8 a.m. Oct. 1. Four watches, an iPad, earrings, cash and a Nintendo Wii were stolen from an apartment. Burglars were able to get inside without force, ransack drawers and steal the above-listed items.

Harford Road, 8300 block. At 10:30 p.m. Sept. 28. A man was robbed of cash and cigarettes as he stood outside the Emerald Tavern smoking. Another man pushed the victim to the ground, robbed him, and ran off southbound on Harford Road.

Alda Drive, 9600 block. Between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Oct. 4. Cash, a watch and jewelry were stolen from a home. Burglars stood on a trashcan and removed the screen from an open window to get inside the home.

Police describe the robber as a black male between 25 and 30 years old, approximately 5'7" tall and 140 pounds, with a thin build and black hair. The robber apparently uses the name "Donte", according to a police report.
