Parkville/Carney Crime: Man Robbed Outside Parkville Bar

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases were a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Fullerdale Avenue, 9500 block. Between 7:10 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. May 2. Two laptop computers and miscellaneous tools valued at a total of $1,000 were stolen from a home. Burglars forced open a basement door at the rear of the home to get inside, destroying the door frame and causing $100 in damage in the process.

Old Harford Road, 8200 block. Between 6:45 and 7:20 p.m. May 1. Someone broke a screen in an burglary attempt but failed to get inside the home.

Windsor Road, 2500 block. Between 6:30 a.m. and 12:44 p.m. A jewelry box and jewelry, valued at $900, were stolen from a home. A rear kitchen door was kicked open and destroyed in the process of the burglary, causing an estimated $400 in damages.

Harford Road, 8300 block. At 11:30 p.m. April 28. A man was assaulted and robbed of his cell phone as he stood talking outside of the Emerald Tavern. A man approached the victim, grabbed him by the neck, forced him against a wall and stole his phone before he fled down Woodside Avenue.

Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a Parkville man in connection with the crime—the suspect is described as a 24-year-old white male, approximately 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds with short brown hair, hazel eyes and a fair complexion. He was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a baseball cap.

Gunpowder Road, unit block. Between 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. April 27. A large amount of jewelry, worth nearly $20,000, and an iPod were stolen from a Glen Arm home. There were no signs of forced entry at the residence and police are continuing to investigate.

McClean Boulevard, 7300 block. At 2 a.m. April 27. A man was waiting in line outside of an Exxon gas station when we was approached three male suspect pointing silver handguns at him.

The men demanded that the victim "give it all up" and while the victim was complying he was dragged across the parking lot onto McClean Boulevard, according to a police report.

The robbers stole $500 dollars from the victim, and police have noted similarities between this robbery and others in Precinct 6/Towson.

Daniels Avenue, 7800 block. At 10:50 p.m. April 25. A man was robbed of $200 after he met three men in reference to the sale of a cell phone he posted in an ad on Craigslist. The robbers forced the victim to the ground and stole his money then fled toward Taylor Avenue.

Police are continuing to investigate the robbery and have issued warrants for two men they believe to have been involved.
