Parkville/Carney Crime: North Plaza T-Mobile Robbed

A store in North Plaza shopping center was robbed of cash Monday morning.
An employee was unlocking the door to the T-Mobile store located in the 8800 block of Waltham Woods Road, when a man approached him from behind, according to a police report.
The man pressed an object to the employee's side and demanded money from the shop, the report said.

The employee opened the registers for the robber, but told police there was only change from the previous night inside. At that point, the report says, the robber took the employee to the back room and demanded that he open the safe.
The robber took $2,600 from the safe and fled, ordering the employee to remain in the back room.
