Parkville/Carney Crime: Woman Tries to Rob M&T Bank

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Harford Road, 8700 block. At 12:40 p.m. Nov. 2. A woman tried to rob an M&T Bank Branch by implying that she had a handgun. The woman entered the bank and passed a note to a teller. The note said "this is a robbery, no dye packs, I have a gun."

The teller did not comply and the woman fled the bank.

Police are searching for a white female between 20 and 27 years of age,  between 5'2" and 5'4" tall with a medium build and blonde hair. The suspect was last seen wearing blue jeans, a brown felt hat and a dark-colored jacket.

Hiss Road, 3200 block. Between 10 p.m. Nov. 1 and 7:25 a.m. Nov. 2. A glass door was broken in order to get inside a home. The victim told police that the home had been ransacked, but that nothing was stolen.

Harford Road, 9000 block. at 8:45 p.m. Nov. 2. A man was robbed at gunpoint in his apartment when two robbers wearing ski masks knocked on his door and forced their way inside after displaying a handgun, police said.  One of the robbers demanded money and drugs, and the victim gave them cash and a prescription bottle containing ten Percoset.

The robbers then told the victim to get in the shower and drop his pants before fleeing, police said.

Rader Avenue, 2600 block. Between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Nov. 1. A 13-year-old boy was robbed of his yellow Huffy mountain bike by another juvenile. The robber approached the victim, who was on his bicycle at the time, and slapped him. The robber then ordered the victim to sit on the ground, got on the mountain bike and fled down Rader Avenue, police said.

Cleanleigh Drive, 2300 block. At 5:02 a.m. Oct. 28. Three flat screen televisions were reported stolen from Colortyme, a total loss of more than $4,000.

After reviewing security footage, police said they were able to determine that the televisions were loaded into a black Acura Legend and a black Dodge Ram 1500 pick-up truck with a large chrome toolbox.

Edgefield Road, 8700 block. Between 11:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Oct. 28. A large amount of cash was reported stolen from a home. A burglar forced open a rear ground floor window to get inside and then ransacked a bedroom before stealing the cash, police said.
