Parkville Crime: Bikes, Lawn Equipment Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases were a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Hillside Road, 9300 block. Between 4:30 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. July 9. Two grass trimmers and a leaf blower were stolen from the basement of a home. According to police, burglars got inside by breaking a basement window and apparently left through a basement door.

Harford Road, 9300 block. Between 5 p.m. July 9 and 7 a.m. July 10. A business owner reported to police that someone tried to break through a concrete wall into a business. Burglars were unable to get inside the building and nothing was stolen.

Spindrift Circle, unit block. Between 5:15 a.m. and 9 p.m. July 10. Cash was stolen from under a mattress inside an apartment. There were no signs of forced entry.

Wendover Avenue, 7800 block. Between 10:30 and 11:20 p.m. July 9. Two bikes were stolen from the back yard of a home. One of the bikes was later located in the driveway of a nearby home along with a third bike—a green Murray bike whose owner could not be determined.

Oakleigh Court, 1700 block. Between 8 p.m. July 4 and 3 p.m. July 7. A wet/dry vacuum, toilet snake, power washer, two toolboxes, two children’s bicycles and a motorized scooter were stolen from a shed in the back yard of a home. The gate to the yard was forced open in the course of the burglary.
