Two would-be thieves ran from the scene of the crime in Parkville recently when they discovered their targeted victim didn't have anything worth stealing.

At 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 27, an employee of the Pizza Polo shop in the 8600 block of Harford Road was taking out the trash when two suspects approached him, according to Baltimore County Police Department Parkville Precinct 8 online records.

One suspect implied that he had a weapon and demanded the victim's property, according to the report. The suspects fled when they realized the victim did not have anything to take.

The first suspect is a black male, 16 to 17 years old, about 5-foot-11 and 160 pounds. The second suspect is a black male, 17 to 19, about 5-foot-8 and 170 pounds.
