Parkville/Carney Crime: Man Robbed At Gunpoint on Kings Ridge Road

Kings Ridge Road, 2800 block. At 8:45 p.m. Sept. 15. A man was robbed and his cash was stolen while he was walking down Kings Ridge Road. The victim told police he was approached by two men in an older model Buick. He said the men in the car asked him if he knew where they could — the driver of the vehicle then pulled out a black automatic handgun and pointed it at the victim while the passenger got out, patted the victim down and stole his money.

The suspects are described as a black male with dark skin and gold teeth wearing a hat, and a black male with medium skin, last seen wearing a blue jacket and black pants.

Oakleigh Road at Cleanleigh Drive. Between 7:50 and 8:30 p.m Sept. 10. A man was robbed of his groceries, a necklace and cash after he went shopping at the Save-A-Lot store.

The man told police he was attempting to cross Oakleigh Road at Cleanleigh Drive when he was approached by a white male who demanded cash. Shortly thereafter, the victim reported that two black males struck him from behind and the suspects stole his property.

Carney

Joppa Road, 2500 block. At 8:50 a.m. Sept. 12. A computer and a digital camera were reported stolen from a home. The victim told police that a male suspect entered her home while she was taking out the trash and stole the items. The victim told police she confronted the burglar and he fled in a tan vehicle.

6th Avenue, 3100 block. At 4:07 a.m. Sept. 12. Police responded to a home for a call of a burglary in progress. The victim, who was asleep in the basement at the time, awoke to a loud noise and yelled. She then called the police.

Upon arriving, officers noticed a back door to the home was open and saw pry marks on the doorframe. Police were unable to locate the burglar inside the home, and a search of the area also turned up no results.
