Police Make Arrest In Putty Hill Plaza Bank Robbery

Robert Louis Thompson is being held at the Baltimore County detention center with bail denied.

Baltimore County police have made an arrest in the robbery of a Fullerton Bank of America branch late last month.

Robert Louis Thompson, 32, of no fixed address, was arrested May 5 after police received a Metro Crime Stoppers tip, including the suspect's name, as a response to

Thompson has been charged in connection with two bank robberies.

On April 29, shortly after 4 p.m., a man entered the Bank of America branch in Putty Hill Plaza and used a note to demand money from a teller, then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Two days earlier, on the afternoon of April 27, a man robbed an M&T Bank on Ridgely Road, in the Lutherville-Timonium area.

Thompon is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bail.
