Police Charge Overlea Man With Armed Robbery

The accused robbed an 18-year-old during a purported drug deal.

Baltimore County police have charged an Overlea man with armed robbery in a botched drug deal.

Jamie Thomas Dicapua, 28, of the unit block of Henry Avenue, was charged with armed robbery, robbery, assault and theft.

An 18-year-old man went to Dicapua’s Overlea home on Henry Avenue on July 16 at 8:55 p.m. with the intention of purchasing marijuana, according to the report. 

Dicapua is accused of pulling a knife on the victim while they sat in a car in Dicapua’s driveway. The victim handed over his Galaxy Note 2 and $10 cash.

Police responded to Dicapua’s home and arrested him on July 17.
