Police: Robbers Invade Linwood Avenue Home, Injure Man

Several robbers broke into a Parkville home after midnight Thursday

A homeowner was injured during a home invasion robbery in Parkville on Thursday.

After midnight on Nov. 15,  in the 3000 block of Linwood Avenue, a man was sleeping on a sofa in his living room when he heard someone breaking in through the basement door, according to Baltimore County Police Department spokeswoman Elise Armacost.

Several men then entered the living room and dragged the man from the sofa to the kitchen, where he was assaulted. The robbers then demanded money. The victim said he had no money to give, and the robbers dragged the man down the stairs and outside before running away, Armacost said.

The man, who received non-life-threatening injuries, including a cut to his arm, then crawled back inside and called to his wife, who had been sleeping upstairs, for help. The couple then called police, according to Armacost.

Officers responded but were unable to locate the robbers and no description of the suspects was available Thursday afternoon, Armacost said.
