Police Make Arrest in CCBC Cell Phone Thefts

A juvenile charged in connection with the case and released his parents.

A Rosedale teen has been arrested and charged in connection to two robberies and an attempted robbery at the Community College of Baltimore County Essex campus.

The boy, from the 8800 block of Pennsbury Place, is charged as a juvenile with two counts of robbery, one count of attempted robbery, three counts of assault, two counts of theft and one count of attempted theft, according to White Marsh Precinct Lt. Ron Brooks.

He was released into the custody of his parents, Brooks said.

In each incidence the robber approached a female victim and pushed her to the ground before stealing or attempting to steal the victim’s cell phone. 

The robberies occurred on April 26 and May 10, while an unsuccessful attempt occurred on May 16.
