Police Name New Captain for Parkville Precinct

Capt. Gordon Skinner will take over for Capt. Thomas J. Busch, who retired from the precinct at the beginning of November.

After operating for a little more than a month under the supervision of interim commander Lt. Paul Franzoni, Parkville Precinct has a new captain.

The Baltimore County Police Department annouced on Thursday night that they were naming five new precinct captains to replace those who recently retired as part of the early November command staff departures, or who were promoted to department command staff on Wednesday.

Police Chief James Johnson announced yesterday afternoon that Capt. Gordon Skinner will take over command of the Parkville station beginning on Dec. 16, according to a county-issued press release.
