Suspect Injured in Police-Involved Shooting in Middle River
The unidentified suspect was shot during a traffic stop made by a Baltimore County police officer.
UPDATED [10:01 a.m.]—Baltimore County Police are on the scene of a police involved shooting Friday morning in Middle River.
Full details of the incident in the 9600 block of Pulaski Highway are not immediately available.
The suspect was shot after a traffic stop shortly before 7 a.m. Friday, according to a statement released by the Baltimore County Police Department.
It is not clear what precipitated the shooting. The suspect was able to flee the area but was captured a short distance away. He was taken to an undisclosed area hospital and treated for minor injuries, according to the statement.
