Loch Raven/Hillendale Crime: $100 in Change Stolen from Apartment Laundry

Hillendale
Collindale and Deanwood roads. Between 11 p.m., July 18 and 11 a.m., July 19. An orange 49 cc scooter, chained to a storm drain, was stolen. The lock had been cut.

Kennoway Road, 1700 block. Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., July 20. A lawnmower was stolen from a backyard.

Quentin Avenue, 8600 block. Between 1 p.m., July 13 and 7 a.m., July 16. A Dewalt air compressor, framing gun, two trim guns, chop saw and drill were stolen. Police are unsure how the burglar entered the area.
Knettishall
Yakona Road, 1600 block. Between 7:45 a.m. and 4:02 p.m., July 17. A 42-inch Sharp flat-screen television, Sony DVD player, two Chase credit cards and one Bank of America credit card were stolen. Police believe the burglar entered through a back window.
Hillendale Park
Cobourg Court, 1800 block. Between 11 p.m., July 16 and 8 a.m., July 17. At Oakleigh Apartments, a burglar pried open a laundry room door and opened drywall covering a window. The burglar flipped over the washers and dryers, destroyed coin slots and removed quarters. The burglar stole approximately $100 in change.
