Two people have been arrested after police say they broke into a home in the Seven Courts area, fled and blew a tire.
Kendra Cierra Mellerson, 23, of the 5800 block of Cedonia Avenue, and Aaron Duane Robinson Jr, 26, of the 4100 block of Glenmore Avenue, were arrested and charged with first- and fourth-degree burglary and destruction of property.
A woman was sleeping in her North Trail Way home around 11 a.m. Wednesday when she was awakened by someone banging loudly on the front door and ringing the door bell, according to a police report
She looked outside and saw an older model Ford Taurus parked outside, then heard another loud bang and ran downstairs to discover a basement door had been kicked open, according to a police report.
The suspects then fled in the Ford Taurus, according to the report, but blew a tire and were forced to stop at the Cub Hill Citgo station where they were arrested.
A search of electronic court records shows that Mellerson was released from the Baltimore County Detention Center on $10,000 bond. Robinson was released on $20,000 bond.
