UPDATE: 2 Charged In Parkville Package Thefts

The two men allegedly took packages off the porches of homes on Oakcrest and Hillcrest avenues.

Police have arrested two men who they say stole packages from the porches of Parkville-area homes.

Lendon William Morris, 37, of the 2600 block of Windsor Road and Joseph Dean McDaniel, 36, of the 2300 block of Taylor Avenue, were charged with fourth-degree burglary.

Police say that Morris and McDaniel stole packages from the porches of homes in the 2900 block of Oakcrest Avenue and the 2900 block of Hillcrest Avenue shortly before 11 a.m. July 10.

Morris and McDaniel were both arrested and the stolen packages, which contained parts and shirts, were recovered, according to a police report.
