Two Baltimore Women Arrested In CCBC Robbery

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Baltimore County police said they arrested two Baltimore City women who allegedly robbed a female friend on the Community College of Baltimore County Essex Campus last week.

The victim, who was not identified, picked up Marcia Diamond Cofield, 19, from Baltimore City, and then picked up another woman and traveled to CCBC Essex, police said. After arriving at the college, the victim picked up another friend, Akashi Monique White, 24, the police report states.

White and Cofield then allegedly robbed the victim, stealing her wallet, cash, cigarettes and cell phone charger, police said. The two women then left the victim at the college, according to police.

Police later arrested Cofield, of the 600 block of Bouldin St., and White, of the 1400 block of Barrett Road. Both women were charged with robbery, second-degree assault and theft, court records show.

Cofield is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $50,000 bond, and White, who has a record of criminal charges, is being held without bail, police said.
