Robber Steals Methadone Pills

The robber threatened a woman with a knife early Sunday morning.

A woman was robbed of methadone pills while walking near Loch Raven Boulevard early Sunday morning, according to police.

Between 1:45 and 2 a.m. Sunday on Yakona Road near Loch Raven Boulevard, a robber, described as a man between the ages of 25 and 30, approached the woman with a knife and demanded she give him what she had in her possession, according to a Baltimore County police report. The woman removed two bottles of methadone pills from her purse, valued at $32, and handed them to the robber.

The woman told police she didn't know in which direction the man fled, according to the report.

She probably sold her pills and needed a story to tell her Healthcare Provider for replacement med's. If so she can be charged with filing a false police report.

Sounds like she's running a scam. My 78 yr old aunt had work done in her house and one of the contractors stole her bottle of 90 qty. 10/500 mg vicodins. She asked her pharmacy to replace them and she was told she had to file a police report, she did and was able to get a refill. Her's was a legit replacement but that just shows you how easy it is to scam the system if you really want to.
