Woman Robbed Outside Fullerton Giant

The victim said two males stole her purse then fled.

Late last month a woman had her purse and another bag stolen from her while in the parking lot of a Fullerton Giant supermarket, according to police.

On Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. the victim was getting out of her car to enter the supermarket when she was approached by a man who asked her for money, according to a police report.

When the victim replied that she had no money to give to him, the man grabbed the two bags the victim was carrying and tried to steal them. The victim struggled to keep her property but was dragged over a curb and fell down, at which point the man freed the bags from her hands and fled toward Rossville Boulevard, the report said.
