Beltway Ramp Closures Will Cause Detours for Parkville Drivers

Ramps to northbound Perring Parkway will be closed overnight tonight and tomorrow.

Overhead sign work on the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) over the next two nights will cause detours for Parkville-area drivers, according to Maryland State Highway Administration officials.

Highway workers will install the structure for the overhead sign beginning Wednesday night at 10 p.m. At that time, workers will close the inner loop of the beltway to northbound Perring Parkway (MD 41) until 5 a. m. Thursday.

From 10 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday, workers will close the outer loop's ramp to northbound Perring Parkway to complete the work.

Highway workers will guide drivers through the area during the installation, according to the statement.

All lanes are expected to open by 5 a.m. Friday.
