Boteler To Talk Taxes, Session With Carney Community Group

The group will hear from the District 8 delegate on the subject of the 2013 legislative session in Annapolis.

When the Carney Improvement Association meets next week, they'll be hearing from one area legislator about the 2013 legislative session in Annapolis.

Del. Joe Boteler, a Perry Hall Republican, will join the group at their meeting at 7 p.m. May 15, at Carney Elementary School, 3031 E. Joppa Road, according to an email from group President Meg O'Hare. The meeting will be the group's last until September.

"I have asked [Del. Boteler] to outline the new taxes passed in the 2013 legislative session and how much this will cost the typical citizen," O'Hare wrote in an email. "I also asked him to tell us about any 2013 legislation that will positively benefit the citizens."
