Columbus Day: Baltimore Co. Offices Closed; Trash, Recycling Will Be Collected

Baltimore County libraries, senior centers and CountyRide are closed for the holiday.

In recognition of Columbus Day, Baltimore County government offices and District and Circuit courts will be closed Monday.

Health department clinics, libraries and senior centers will be closed and CountyRide vans will not operate, according to a statement from county officials.

But while some county workers enjoy a day off, other swill be hard at work.

Trash and recyclables will be collected as scheduled, according to the statement. All county trash and recycling drop-off facilities will be open as well.
