County Public Works Director To Discuss Harford, Joppa Intersection

Ed Adams will speak to the Greater Parkville Community Council about plans to improve the intersection of Harford and Joppa roads at a Thursday night meeting.

If you live in Parkville or Carney, you're probably aware that the intersection of Harford and Joppa roads is one of the toughest spots to navigate during the commute.

Fortunately, it looks like relief for commuters is on the way.

On Thursday night Ed Adams, Baltimore County's Director of Public Works, will speak to the Greater Parkville Community Council about future improvements to the intersection, according to an email from group president Ruth Baisden.

Greater Parkville Community Council holds meetings at 7 p.m. in the Parkville Senior Center, 8601 Harford Road.

Adams will also address concerns related to repair of local roads, storm drains and sidewalks and traffic calming on local residential streets, the email states.

Baisden wrote that the group also plans to discuss improvements to the Harford Road Main Street Business District and a proposed development near the aforementioned intersection.
