Franchot Places Local Winery's First Direct Ship Order

New laws went into effect today that allow Maryland wineries to ship their products out of state, and Maryland consumers to have wine from other states shipped to their doorstep.

The new law also allows consumers to have wine from other states sent straight to their doorstep.

Franchot visited Boordy Vineyards on Long Green Pike in Hydes Friday morning to place a historic order for a bottle each of reserve chardonnay and a 'landmark reserve' red wine.
