Kamenetz To Meet With Parkville Residents Next Week

The latest "Coffee with Kevin" event will be held at a Ridgeleigh restaurant on Dec. 4.

Have an idea you'd like to share with Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz?

You'll have your chance next week when he hosts a community forum in the Ridgeleigh neighborhood.

The latest "Coffee With Kevin" event will be held at Johnny Dee's Restuarant at 1705 Amuskai Road in the Ridgeleigh neighborhood at 10 a.m. Dec. 4, according to a news release from the county.

The meeting, which will last roughly an hour, is open to the public without pre-registration, according to the release.

"I am eager to meet with folks in the Greater Parkville area," said Kamenetz in the release.  "It is just really refreshing to meet with community leaders to discuss issues that we all care about. I really like the fact that there is no screening of topics and look forward to a really good exchange"

The meeting is the second of its kind, and is intended to increase transparency in government, the release states.

The first "Coffee With Kevin" event was held over the summer in the Halethorpe area.

Will you attend the community forum next Monday? What would you ask the County Executive? Tell us in the comments.

Why don't you try to schedule something where working class folks don't have to take a day off to talk to their county executive. 10 am on Tuesday?! Really?!
