Streets In Loch Raven Neighborhood To Be Resurfaced

Fifth District Councilman David Marks announced the project Thursday afternoon.

Four streets in a Loch Raven neighborhood are set to be resurfaced in the coming year, according to one elected official.

Fifth District Councilman David Marks announced that new pavement would be forthcoming for Glen Ridge, Greenway, Kennoway and Loch Sheil roads during 2013.

According to the email announcing the plans, the affected streets are:

  • Glen Ridge Road between Edgewood and Greenway roads
  • Greenway Road between Edgewood Road and Loch Raven Boulevard
  • Kennoway Road between Glen Ridge and Edgewood roads
  • Loch Sheil Road between Aberdeen and Glen Ridge roads

Marks estimates the project will be completed during the spring and summer of the coming year.

"I am happy that one of our oldest neighborhoods along the Loch Raven Boulevard will benefit from Baltimore County’s resurfacing program," he wrote.

Can they pave the neighborhood just next door? Between Clearwood, Taylor, and Oakleigh? I don't know what it is, but crossing into that neighborhood is like crossing the state line into Delaware.

It's not in Loch Raven, but most of the streets in the Cedmont neighborhood adjacent to Overlea need major, major work. Potholes and bumps throughout pretty much every street.
