left some glowing praise for Overlea Diner.

"Overlea diner is the breakfast choice of the cutest couple in Parkville. Tanya is wonderful as well as all the waitresses. Skootchee's coffee cup stays full!" said Pat Stevenson, or "Patty Cake".

On the other hand, Patch users RAL and Tim cast their votes for Bagel Bistro.

"Real bagels - delicious! great sandwich place, too. Really good chicken salad. Lucky to have it in our neighborhood!" RAL said in a review left in the Patch Places directory.

Tim, a Perry Hall resident, said he'd be a regular at Bagel Bistro in his review.

"Locally owned, bagels are made fresh daily. I've tried several of them now, mostly of the egg and cheese (or with bacon) variety.

Excellent product. Better then Einstein Bros bagels across the board," Tim said.

Over in Towson, the winner looks to be neighborhood staple and in Perry Hall looks to have taken the title on account of their delicious pancakes.

Next week we'll be looking for the "Best Gyms in Parkville-Overlea"; voting opens at 5 a.m. Monday.
