Hoarding: Trash or Treasurer

Hoarding is the "acquisition of and failure to discard a large number of possessions that appear to be useless or of limited value".  Hoarding creates hazardous conditions that can increase the risk of fire, structural damage to the dwelling and disease or injury to those in the home or living nearby.  Learn about the Baltimore County Hoarding Task Force from Sharon Meyers, LCSW -C with the Department of Social Services.
