AVID stands for Advancement Via Indivdual Determination. The AVID program at Parkville is holding an open house searching for incoming students with middle school GPAs between 2.0 and 3.5. This program is a wonderful oportunity for students who have the drive and desire to go to college, but don't necessarily have the grades. Come over to Parkville High School on the 26th between 6 - 8 in the evening, and let the AVID program's teachers give you more information. You'll walk away impressed at what this program helps our children do!
