Immaculate Heart Super Mom Needs Your Help

Joanne McShalley, a parent at Immaculate Heart of Mary School, organized the photo that brought the Ravens to the school. Now she needs your help to go to the Pro Bowl in Honolulu.

Last Tuesday, players from the Baltimore Ravens paid a visit to school to meet students there and participate in the NFL's Ultimate Gym Class. Now the mom who was instrumental in winning the contest needs help to win a contest of her own.

Joanne McShalley, whose son Brian is an eighth grader at Immaculate Heart, organized the photo that won the NFL's Play 60 contest. McShalley helped organize more than 500 students to spell out R-A-V-E-N-S with their bodies in the parking lot and sent that photo, along with an essay, to the NFL.

As a result, Ravens players Ray Rice, Torrey Smith, Andre Gurode, Ricky Williams and Lee Evans paid a visit to the school and donated $10,000 on the part of Play 60 partner Proctor and Gamble. At the same time, another $1,000 was donated in McShalley's name and she was nominated as an NFL Super Parent.

"Can you help get the word out to our awesome Ravens fans, so we don't end up with a Steelers parent on the sidelines?" McShalley said.

Voting for the contest ends Dec. 15.
