Micro Center Auctions Signed Ravens iPads For Charity

The computer store, which recently opened in Perring Plaza, hosts the auction through Feb. 4.

A new-to-Parkville business is offering the chance to own a unique piece of Baltimore Ravens memorabilia and help out a good cause at the same time.

Micro Center, a computer superstore that opened in Perring Plaza back in November, is auctioning off five third-generation iPads through the website 32auctions.

Each tablet has it's own unique Baltimore Ravens skin, which has been signed by Ravens coach John Harbaugh, running back Ray Rice, quarterback Joe Flacco, defensive end Haloti Ngata, safety Ed Reed and outside linebacker Terrell Suggs.

Bids, which must be entered by noon on Feb. 4, start at $400 and proceeds from the sale of the tablets goes to help out four area charities: the Baltimore Ravens All Community Team Foundation, the Baltimore Special Olympics, the Ray Rice Charitable Fund and Ed Reed's Eye of the Hurricane Foundation.
