Parkville High Student Named Ravens Athlete of the Week

A Parkville High student athlete will be honored by the Ravens this week.

To call Parkville's Beth Madore a student athlete would be an understatement.

The Parkville High School junior is in the top 5 percent of her class academically and manages to play softball, basketball and soccer.

As a reward for her hard work, Madore was recently named the Baltimore Ravens Athlete of the Week and will attend the Thursday night game against the Cleveland Browns where she'll get a one-of-a-kind jersey and participate in the on-field pre-game activities.

In addition, Parkville High School's football team will be represented in the half-time quarterback challenge where quarterback Danny Whittler will compete for the longest pass—throwing to receivers Otis Pullen and Chris Washington.

Congratulations to Parkville's athletes!
