Statewide assessment scores may have where, on average, Baltimore County elementary schools performed above statewide averages but middle schools performed below statewide averages.
But here in Parkville-Overlea, the news is mostly all positive.
At the elementary school level, nearly every school on average exceeded both the State averages for reading and math (88.2 percent and 87.7 percent of students showing proficiency, respectively) and the county averages (90.7 percent and 90.8 percent, respectively).
