Parkville Window Decorating Contest Seeks Participants

The Parkville-Carney Business Professional Association will host their annual contest next month, but participants have to register by Dec 1.

The holidays are right around the corner, and so is the beginning of what has quickly become a Parkville tradition.

The Parkville Carney Business Professional Association will once again host their holiday window decorating contest for the sixth year, according to an email from the group.

If you have a group—Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, school and church groups, rec council programs—that you think might like to participate, now is the time to get in touch with business association president Ed Pinder.

In an email, Pinder wrote that both businesses interested in having their windows decorated and groups interested in decorating them should contact him at either 410-262-8954 or by email at pinderlegal@aol.com.

"We are challenging the local schools and civic groups to come up with the best holiday window display," Pinder wrote. "Monetary donations to your program will be made if you participate."
