PHOTOS: Loch Raven High School Graduation

In a June 7 ceremony at Towson University's Towson Center Arena, Loch Raven High School said goodbye to its Class of 2011.

Students walked across the stage to receive their diplomas from Principal Bonnie Lambert before setting off on the path to adulthood—some bound for colleges including the University of Maryland, Penn State and Yale. 

Loch Raven High School's 38th graduating class included 252 students; young men donned purple caps and gowns while the young women wore white.

Speakers at graduation included Lambert, Class of 2011 valedictorian Rohan Goswami, Class of 2011 salutatorian Abdul Akbaryeh, Baltimore County School Board President Ernest Hines and Class of 2011 vice president Jonathan Holtzman.
