Westside Community Group Offers Free Formal Wear to County Girls

The group organizing the effort on Friday announced the expansion on its Facebook page.

A formalwear drive hosted by a westside community group is offering prom dresses and accessories to girls who can't afford them across Baltimore County.

The Arbutus Improvement Association's prom season formalwear drive, originally intended to support juniors and seniors at Catonsville and Landsdowne high schools, expanded due to an increased number of donations, according to a post Friday on the drive's Facebook page.

The association wrote on Facebook that the drive is open to the first 150 girls who register register via the form provided on their Facebook page.
