CCBC Essex Men to Play for Regional Soccer Title, Women Bumped from Tourney

Volleyball and cross country teams also in action this weekend.

The CCBC Essex women’s soccer team was defeated by Harford Community College Thursday in the NJCAA Region XX semi-finals 3-0. Harford now moves on to play College of Southern Maryland for the Region XX Championship  Saturday at 11 a.m. The Lady Knights finish the season with a 6-6-3 record. 

Congratulations go out to Coach Holland and the student athletes for the 2013 season.

The men's soccer team travels to Harford Community College in quest of a spot in the NJCAA Men’s National Soccer Championship in Tyler, Texas. The No. 1 seed Knights play No. 3 seed College of Southern Maryland with the winner moving on to the National Championships. Game time is 1:30 p.m. at Harford CC Saturday.

The Lady Knights volleyball team is traveling to Chicago to play in the Blackhawk College Tournament on Saturday and Sunday.

They return to home action Tuesday against Northern Virginia Community College at 7 p.m. in the Wellness Center.

The Lady Knights cross country team travels to Westmoreland Community College to participate in the NJCAA Region XX Cross-Country Tournament on Saturday.
