CCBC Essex Men's Soccer Team No. 1 Seed in Regional Tourney
Three teams will head to regional tournament action; women's volleyball team heads to Chicago this weekend for the Blackhawk Classic.

The men’s soccer team captured the No. 1 seed in the NJCAA Region XX Tournament by defeating Chesapeake Monday 6-0. The Knights jumped off to a 2-0 lead in the first three minutes of the game and coasted the rest of the way. The Knights were scheduled to play Hagerstown, the No. 4 seed, Tuesday at Harford Community College. The Knights defeated Hagerstown during the regular season 3-0.
The Lady Knights volleyball team was swept by Hagerstown 3-0. The team travels to Chicago on Saturday and Sunday to participate in the Blackhawk Classic.

The women’s soccer team captured the No. 3 seed in the NJCAA Region XX Tournament and will play Harford Community College at 5 p.m. Thursday in a semi-final matchup. The Lady Knights were defeated by Harford 2-0 early in the season.
The women’s cross-country team will travel to Westmoreland Community College to participate in the NJCAA Region XX Tournament Saturday.
