CCBC Fall Sports Season Winds Down, Teams Prepping for Tourney Play

The women's volleyball and soccer and men's soccer team all played over the weekend.

CCBC Essex weekend sports results:

The women’s volleyball team defeated CCBC Catonsville Friday 3-0 to bring its record to 8-11. The Lady Knights travel to Hagerstown tonight for a 6 p.m. match.

The women’s soccer team traveled to Mercer County on Saturday and fought to a 0-0 overtime tie. On Sunday the Lady Knights traveled to Rhode Island where they were defeated 4-0. Their current record is 6-5-3. The Lady Knights open defense of their NJCAA Region XX Title on Thursday by traveling to Harford Community College for a 6 p.m. matchup.

The men’s soccer team travels to Chesapeake today and a win will get them the No. 1 seed in the Region XX Tournament which begins Wednesday at Harford Community College. A win today will have them playing Hagerstown on Wednesday at 4 p.m. A loss will pit them against Southern Maryland at 6 p.m.. Both games will be played at Harford C.C.
