Orioles Fans Flock To Meet Fielder McLouth (Photos)

With in-stadium All-Star voting drawing to a close this Friday the Orioles still have four players in the lead for American League starting positions.

That's why Tuesday morning the Orioles Street Team along with the Oriole Bird and outfielder Nate McLouth stopped by Modell's in Parkville's Perring Plaza to encourage fans to get out the vote.

Check out photos and video of McLouth meeting with fans and add your own.

Orioles first baseman Chris Davis, shortstop J.J. Hardy, and outfielders Adam Jones and Nick Markakis continue to hold the lead in all-star voting, according to MASN sports.

Two other Orioles—catcher Matt Wieters and third baseman Manny Machado— remain in second for their respective positions, MASN reported

The Orioles franchise-best for All-Star game starters is three and it's happened twice, MASN reported.

In 1971 O's greats Boog Powell, Brooks Robinson, and Frank Robinson all started in the All-Star game and in 1997 Roberto Alomar, Brady Anderson, and Cal Ripken Jr. took the field.

All-Star voting continues in stadiums across the country, including at Oriole Park where the O's take on the Indians Tuesday night, through Friday June 28. After that, fans can cast their votes on MLB.com until July 4.

The All Star game will be played July 16 in New York.
