Ravens' Flacco, Pitta at McFaul's Tonight

The Baltimore Ravens quarterback-tight end duo will be at McFaul's Iron Horse Tavern tonight for the WNST Thursday Night Live radio show.

If you've ever wanted to meet Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, tonight will present you with an awesome opportunity.

Flacco will be the special guest on WNST.net's Thursday Night Live radio show, hosted by Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta and WNST's "Nasty" Nestor Aparicio, broadcasting live from McFaul's Iron Horse Tavern at Sanders' Corner at 2260 Cromwell Bridge Road.

The show starts at 7 p.m., but owner Kristen McFaul said that a shuttle will start running from the Cromwell Bridge Park & Ride, just off the Beltway, to the restaurant at 5:30 p.m.

Between segments of the show, both Flacco and Pitta will sign autographs and pose for photographs. Pitta, McFaul said, will be available for free (although there will be a line) but Flacco will be taking a donation for the Living Classrooms Foundation.

"I think it's going to be $5 for an autograph, $10 for a photo but they're still working that out," she said.

This year, McFaul's has already hosted one edition of Thursday Night Live where Ravens rookie kicker Justin Tucker was a special guest, and McFaul said the house was packed.

"The earlier you can get here the better," she said. "This time we're running a shuttle because last time people were just parking wherever they could. We're expecting a big turnout."

McFaul said that she and her staff found out that Flacco would make an appearance around 1 p.m. Wednesday when former Ravens head coach Brian Billick stopped by.

"When we found out yesterday I was excited, now today I'm running around like crazy trying to get everything ready. We're all very excited, it's a very good thing," she said.

McFaul's Iron Horse Tavern will host Thursday Night Live two more times during this football season: once on Nov. 8 and once on Dec. 6.

"This is someting we always wanted to do here, host sports-related events ... hosting the radio show was just a great opportunity," McFaul said.
