Lydia West, a Parkville resident, always has her Thanksgiving dinner in the middle of the afternoon and her family hangs out, talking and of course, watching football.

This year, things are going to be different around the West house; everyone will still eat their turkey, but when it comes time for post-dinner hanging out, Lydia won't be there — she'll be at M&T Bank stadium with her best friend, watching the Ravens take on the San Francisco 49ers.

"We planned this out since the beginning of the season," West said in an email. "I'm so excited!"

Lydia West isn't the only one ready for some football — the Parkville-Overlea Patch Facebook page is full of eager Ravens fans.

"Of course we'll be there cheering on our boys!" said Facebook user Julie Frias Poling.

The one downside to the game? West thinks it might interfere with getting some Black Friday deals.

"This game is going to interfere with some Black Friday shopping. It will be too late for my husband to take our son out, and there are some deals that start at midnight I will be late for," she said. "If we do miss out on a deal or two, we're hoping that Cyber Monday will save us — but how often are the Ravens gonna play on Thanksgiving...in Baltimore?! Go Ravens!!!"
