Parkville Rec Dance Team to Perform At Ironbirds Game

Girls from Parkville Rec's Dance X-treme and Dance Power programs will take the field Monday night.

After practicing an 8-minute choreographed dance routine for just a month, girls and women from Parkville Rec's Dance X-tremes and Dance Power program will take the field at on Monday.

Program organizer Linda Brice told Patch that the group was invited to perform before the game after the team donated items for a raffle at the dance program's end-of-year recital.

"It's very exciting to be able to perform at stadium," Brice said. "Our girls have been practicing their hearts out two nights a week for the last month to prepare for this."

The girls, who range in age from 5 to 25, will take the field around 6:50 p.m., Brice said. Tickets for the Monday game against the Batavia Muckdogs are available on the Ironbirds' website.
