Video Vintage Parkville-Overlea: Club Venus Memories

This week we take a break from our weekly guessing game to share memories of an old Parkville institution.

This week we're not going to look at an old photograph and try to guess where it was taken—instead, check out this video posted to YouTube and share your memories of Parkville's Club Venus.

The supper club, which opened in 1966, was formerly located in Perring Plaza shopping center. Stills in the video slideshow show tickets for nationally famous musical acts like The Four Seasons and Smokey Robinson and the Miracles and non-musical acts like comedian Rodney Dangerfield.

The video was uploaded to Youtube by BaltimoreJam, a website that focuses on the Baltimore music scene.
