Loch Raven Technical Academy Hosts Food Bank

The Maryland Food Bank is working with Loch Raven Technical Academy to distribute food to those in need this holiday season.

Saturday marked the first day of distribution at a new food pantry serving Parkville, Loch Raven, and Towson.

Volunteers at Loch Raven Technical Academy were joined by Fifth District Councilman David Marks for the kickoff of the program, a joint venture between the school and the Maryland Food Bank.

Unlike other locations, the Loch Raven Technical Academy food pantry is only open during the holiday season and only on certain dates. The school chooses dates and times to open and the food bank delivers food to the school that day.
