I operate alone and people come to me with information. When you have employees that are disgruntled and citizens who are upset people want a voice.
There are some serious issues at stake and the people involved know what they are.
There are so many issues I can't blog on them all. Go back and look at what I wrote. Every one was right on the money. I have been doing this since 1984 when I started as a freelancer for the Sun and then got a job with the News American.
A good cop always has their ducks in as row before going to court. You have to.

I know when…Read More it is the end of the month there they will be at the bottom of hills, as cars tend to accelerate. Drivers who aren't really speeding get ticketed. When we know where cameras are installed, we tend to slow down and then speed back up after we pass them. They do little to make the roads safer.
There is a lot of talk on Patch about plans to create a downtown Perry Hall. This will never happen when you can't cross Bel Air road on foot. I lived over a decade out of the area in several different locations and have yet to come across worse drivers then in Perry Hall with regards to stopping at crosswalks. I live close to Bel Air Road and when I cross at a crosswalk, observing the laws, I have to run for my life. Cars coming at a long distance beep their horns, some shout. In other towns, drivers, slow down..even on main roads when they see your foot go over the curb. Police offers should pose as pedestrians and try to cross crosswalks and ticket drivers who don't stop. Cameras could do this to some extent as well I guess, capturing drivers who don't slow down when someone is crossing. This would be win-win... Lots of revenue from tickets would come in and the area would become pedestrian safe/downtown development. Unfortunately,
when I called police alerting them to a downed crosswalk light near Perry Hall Elementary an hour before school ended they never even showed up.

The driver could have been on the phone, listening to loud music or maybe hears the train blow it's…Read More horns so much at his business it becomes a noise instead of a train. No matter what, no one should cross ANY track without listening and looking before crossing it. Hope the driver recovers and our thoughts are with him and is family.

I know this woman. The police did the right thing, and followed protocol. Very possibly an…Read More attempted suicide by cop because she has serious mental illness. I am very sorry for the suffering the couple has undergone and now the police office who was forced to shoot her. Nonetheless, it is a miracle she survived.
