A Tour of the Brightest Houses in Town [UPDATED WITH NEW PHOTOS]
When I think of over-the-top Christmas light displays, I think of Chevy Chase's house in Christmas Vacation, or, on a more local level, Hampden's 34th Street. But the Parkville area has some festive gems of its own, most of which are tucked away in quiet neighborhoods. There are Disney characters clad in Santa hats, front doors wrapped like shiny Christmas gifts, and outdoor Christmas trees with bulbs the size of cantaloupes. There are people who change their porch lights to red and green, and those who stick with traditional candles in every window. There's even a new trend in lights: day-glow blue.
