Three 2012 Homicides Remain Unsolved
Cases in Oella, Towson and Woodlawn were among the 23 homicide cases investigated in Baltimore County last year.
The homicide detectives in the Baltimore County Police Department continue to solve more homicides than the national average but three cases in 2012 remain unsolved. But suspects remain elusive in three cases: The department announced Wednesday that it solved 86.9 percent of the 23 cases in 2012—just slightly lower than its five year average of 89.8 percent. The clearance rate for homicides nationwide in 2011 was 64.8 percent, according to statistics compiled by the FBI. Police ask anyone with information about any of these crimes to call 410-307-2020
