(Update 2:04 p.m.)—Police have identified a man who was killed in a Sunday night shooting as 27-year-old Alsawab Sawab. Police believe Sawab was shot inside his apartment in the 7000 block of Lachlan Circle, according to a statement from Cpl. Cathy Batton, a Baltimore County Police Department spokeswoman. A resident who lives in the same block called police shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday to report that a man suffering from a gunshot wound was outside the caller's home. Police and fire crews found the man, who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said in a statement Sunday night. The cause of the early morning single-vehicle accident at a Royal Farms store involving a Pikesville area teen remains under investigation.
UPDATED (11:09 a.m.)—An early morning accident that left a gaping hole in the front entrance of a Royal Farms convenience store on Joppa Road remains under investigation. No one was injured in the single-vehicle accident occurred at the store located in the 1500 block of East Joppa Road shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday, according to Cpl. Cathy Batton, a Baltimore County Police Department spokeswoman. Police said a Nissan driven by a 19-year-woman from the Pikesville area struck the building. No charges have yet been filed and no one was arrested, according to Batton. The store was closed Saturday morning while contractors worked to close up the hole in the building.

A woman and young child were transported to area hospitals after their vehicle overturned Monday morning in White Marsh. The single-vehicle incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Route 43 and Crossroads Circle, said Baltimore County police spokesman Detective Cathy Batton. The 29-year-old woman, whose identity is not known at this time, was transported by ambulance to Shock Trauma. The 2-year-old child, whose identity is also not known at this time, was transported by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Children's Center, Batton said. The child was in a car seat, according to police.
